Hey! I’m Eve Sage - a Boston-based photographer, teacher, and designer. I fell in love with photography during high school in New York, and I’ve been creating art ever since!
While earning a BFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, I experimented with alternative photo-printing processes which led me to new printing methods and approaches for my work. Much of my practice touches on body perception, personal expression, and the connection between those in front of the camera and those behind it. I love bridging the world between the physical creation of art and the digital space.
I teach workshops on Cyanotypes (one of the oldest forms of photography) and I’m honored to have partnered with companies like LEGO, and institutions like Harvard University, as well art and craft markets around Boston. I also teach classes on Digital Photography Basics and Lightroom Editing at local art centers, including Arlington Community Education, Cambridge Center for Adult Education, and Arlington Center for the Arts. You can keep up with all my classes and offerings on my Instagram here!
I’ve studied photography at the International Center of Photography, the Los Angeles Center of Photography, the School of Creative and Performing Arts, and the University of Arts London (where I spent a semester at the London College of Communication). I’m also on the Board of Members for ArtsMedford and am part of a small artist collective called WOVEN, which is committed to creating an accessible space for artists; we recently published the first issue of our magazine!
I love to meet new people and try different ideas, so reach out if you want someone to jump in headfirst with you!
